Band concert night!

Tonight was Tanner's first band concert! He has been playing the trombone for 17 weeks now and loves it. He was so excited for us to be there. Jared works on Thursdays so he missed it, but hopefully he can make the next one!

Last couple days....

We have recently gone back to having one vehicle. It hasn't bothered me too much yet. Since having Brightly, going anywhere with all the kids takes alot of effort! I look forward to solo grocery store trips now!

My kids keep me busy at home! Parker is always helping, Carson is always playing, and they are soooooo happy when Tanner takes time to play with them!

Sweet Brightly is my constant companion. If she is awake I am either holding her, feeding her, or wearing her in my ergo so I can try to do stuff. She watches me do laundry, prepare meals, and clean up constantly after her wild and fun brothers!

We are loving the weather and taking full advantage of it! We are in and out all day. Parker and Carson love to ride bikes, play in the rocks, and try to climb our trees. They also love to open the gate and play ball with Diesel. We are lucky to have such a great family dog! He is sweet and very obedient.

Friday nights

Today i made play dough for the boys! they loved it. Parker requested purple, so purple it was. They used plastic knives to cut it up. I might need to get some play dough toys. Note to self: make play dough more often! It kept them busy for an hour! I felt great for embracing the messiness and letting them go at it.

Awhile later I was organizing the playroom while they played. I found tons of stickers from years ago, another hour of play! I sat next to them helping peel off the stickers, and they joyfully stuck them on paper. Note to self: keep an eye out for cheap fun stickers!

My Friday nights consist of the kids and I. Jared works every Friday from noon to midnight. This week we enjoyed the beautiful weather, the boys rode their bikes, and played with Diesel(our dog) until dark.

We then made pizza, did bath time and jammies, played a very intense hour of hide and seek, and had ice cream! I love being a mom, and the sweet simple moments I have like these everyday!

Saturday

Today I spent time with my mom shopping for the kids. We found jammies, ornaments, and enjoyed a relaxing lunch together. Brightly came with us. She is such a sweet happy baby! She sat happily in her car seat while shopping, and sat in my lap most of lunch. We went to Kona Grill, which was amazing. I haven't been there forever! I love sushi! It was nice to get out of the house and have adult time too. My mom is a busy lady that works a lot. I love how much she loves my kiddos. I love that she makes the effort to see them and also to spend time with just me.

When I got home Jared went to take family pictures for Jenna's sweet family. He was so excited to do that for them!

While he was gone, Tanner, Parker, and Carson played football, and rode bikes in our culdesac. Brightly slept on me in the carrier, which I love!

It was a nice relaxing perfect day!!
